Thinking about buying an S40

I posted earlier today in another forum https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/chat/p ... php?t=5716 about my '92 960 and it's major lemon factor. It's had more problems than just the automatic gearbox sensor flashing. Anyway, when I took the car in for all these different problems, I got loaner cars from the dealership, a 2004 V40 and a 2005 S40.
I absolutely fell in love w/the S40 and really want to get rid of my problematic 960 and buy this goregous car. Although it was the 2.4i, it was more powerful than what I currently drive now. I'm a somewhat recent college grad and I'm thinking about this major purchase. (BTW, I'm going to also check out Honda, especially their hybrids. But I'm not as enthusiastic about them since I grew up driving Volvos.) Can anybody w/an S40 tell me how they feel about their car, especially the newer, restyled model? I'd really appreciate any input about this b/c I don't want to have any regrets or doubts hanging over my head.
One more request, if you're in Atlanta, does anybody know of a more courteous/customer friendly dealership than the one in Marietta? They have been very unsatisfactory and I don't want to ever purchase any cars from any of their dealerships.
