I drove an Audi Allroad yesterday

A 2001, only for ~40 miles, and only on highways.

It was ok. The interior is very nice. The exterior's styling is also very nice.

Now for my complaining ;-):

The throttle is very touchy. It seems to have a laser-sensor embedded in it. Movement of even 1mm will cause a corresponding action in the engine. That sounds like a good thing, but actually not because there's no middle area for just cruising along.

When I needed throttle the most -- turning left in a break in traffic -- the engine seemed to bog for a 1/2 second. Bad.

Accelleration was moderate: not too little, but not enough to snap you back in your seat. I think the car is quite heavy.

Steering was nice, and the radio and seats did their job well.

One annoyance was that the key would not come out of the ignition switch until the headlights were turned off. This was a good 3 minutes of frustration for someone who leaves his headlights in the same position always (I use DRL in my 850).
