NO Fuel...Help!
NO Fuel...Help!
I have a 1990 740 turbo wagon. It is not getting fuel. I replaced the fuel pump and filter under the drivers seat. Nothing. I have checked the fuses. fine. I took out the relay and opened it up, there is continuity when I close the swith on both sides. When turniong the key the one side clicks closed. I assume this is working. I have a repair manual that is worthless. I am asking anyone their opinion and advise. I would like to know what the voltages should read at the fuel pumps. ANY help would be much appreciated. Any trouble shooting ideas...ANYTHING!!!! PLEASE HELP.

If you're not getting fuel .. you need to check for spark. During cranking, the ECU will not energize the fuel pump relay UNLESS it receives ignition pulse signal from ignition control unit. NO ignition pulse could poss. be engine speed sensor.
