2002 XC70 when driving from cold car does not accelerate

Post by curzonjones »

The car seems to be stuck in crews control when you try to accelerate and hold the speed at 40mph. This happens when cold, if you stop the car and reboot the systems and start off again, sometimes it will run normally. This some days may be OK, but generally happens when cold. Anyone had this experience? Robert

Any warning lights on the dash? My first thought is dirty ETM.

Thanks Jesse will check on ETM, there are no dashboard lights other than service warning when starting up.

Have your battery and alternator checked. Weak units will cause electrical chaos on most cars these days.
