I have a little over 200,000 miles and just replaced spark plugs and manifold pressure sensor. Sometimes when I am backing up the engine seems anemic, not sputtering, but almost, then the check engine light will come on usually the next time I start the car, but not always. This has been happening occasionally for several months. Seemed fine after the pressure sensor was repaired (about 3 weeks ago) but just happened again this afternoon.
Has anyone ever had this happen or have any ideas?
thanks, Kate

Try disconnecting your battery for about 15-30 minutes. Remove the +ve lead.
That will reset the ECM.
Have your 4 digit radio security number handy to reset that afterwards.
Also clear the CEL.
