2003 S60 OBD codes P2187 & P0496

Hello all. Yesterday my 2003 S60 2.4T w/108,9xx miles failed state emissions testing and I was provided the two diagnostic codes generated.

P0496 -- ECM-420C -- EVAP-system -- Signal too high
I searched here and found helpful info advising how to check/clean the evap system component, as well as a mention of Volvo updating software that might allow my metered readings to fail w/in allowed limits. Before I address that I am wondering about the other code as well, as I cannot find info.

P2187 -- ECM-21EB -- Adaptive heated oxygen sensor control, bank 1 -- Signal missing
???

Any insight/tips much appreciated.

Check all your evap hoses for cracks, tears, or brittleness, etc. I know the post is old but it might help someone else out.
