OK so I've identified it - its the thing with the knobs on in the centre dash.
Seriously
I've got a Volvo C30 2006 complete with entry level stereo (no centre speaker) and a 2005 XC90 with the 6 x CD changer and a centre speaker. Neither of the units has an aux or USB input.
I'm looking to install a Grom or similar unit to bring a USB socket out.
Problem I have is determining exactly which radio model I have installed to each of the vehicles. I'm thinking the XC90 is from the HU range but I'm struggling.
The specs on the radios are that poor I can well undestand anyone being reluctant to put their badge on it!
The Grom and similar are asking for radio model numbers. Can you anyone out there help me with this one please.
Many thanks

sadly the manual you suggest doesn't give me the model number.JDS60R wrote:Check your owners manual It lists the units.
If you need one they are free at Volvocars.com Your Volvo Owners manuals
The old S80 I had had it written on the front. I can see why no-one would want to claim ownership of the head unit they dropped into the 2006/7 C30 cars. On a top spec car I assumed the stereo would be a t least as good as the one standard fitted to a van.

Several optional units that were factory fitted. You can compare your part number to these other options.
