Finally got one of my own build up. Got the connector from a older 240 o2 sensor found up on the firewall on the pass side. Hope to get it installed tomorrow. Crimped the connections and used hot melt heat shrink to make it waterproof.

In case anyone is wondering, the hose routing of this model is exactly the opposite of the IPD HD TCV. It should be connected:
Port 2 - compressor
Port 1 - wastegate
Port 3 - fresh air (or block it off like I did)

You will kill your engine if you get them mixed up, so to be safe blow through the sides ports - the side you can blow through should be connected to the compressor, the other side to the wastegate. Basically, without power, the TCV should supply the compressor pressure to the wastegate.

Good luck!

Are you sure about that? I used the same MAC solenoid back in 2010 for a 98 S70 T5 and I used:

Port 1 - fresh air
Port 2 - wastegate
Port 3 - compressor

Here's a Volvospeed thread where a guy used the same solenoid on his 2007 V70r

He appears to be using Port 1 as fresh air(evidenced by the blue dot on the hose)

Here's another URL using the mac solenoid for an internal wastegate turbo

My 2001 T5 with 231,000kms (new plugs) has a hesitation/go hesitation/go attitude at light throttle/steady speeds. It feels like a headwind at times.
On full throttle it seems to go like the clappers. No codes of course!!

Feels like boost/no boost but hard to tell. Is this where a failing/old TCV will begin to show these signs?

Ended up being a failed O2 sensor. Keeping up with a 17 yr old car's maintenance can be challenging......

In the meantime I just received my MAC valve.
