1997 940 2.3 Misfiring

Hi I have a 1997 2.3 940 which broke down as if there was a fuel starvation problem. I managed to get it running again but there is a misfire on low revs, the more power applied the less the problem, in other words cruises well above 40 mph. I have changed plugs, HT leads, Rotor, distributor cap, that has made no difference. When I unplug the mass airflow sensor it remains the same. Any help/suggestions on where to look next would be appreciated. Thanks Graham
