2003 s60 P0171 Bank 1 System too lean

Hello,

I just replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and still get a rough idle and a whistle in the engine. any suggestions on what to do next?

I had no whistle, but I had a very rough idle and a P0171 code in my 2001 2.4T. I cured it with a new ETM, but only after investing a couple of hours of labor from my local dealer to insure the diagnosis.

I will concede that that code is a bit ambiguous. It can be caused by mixture linearity, vacuum leaks,
any of several misbehaving sensors, or bats nesting on your neighbor's lawn mower, which is why I
invested in the labor. YMMV.
