(2001 V70XC) Replace HU-803 with DIN digital bluetooth unit?

My HU-803 works perfectly. I already have a Parrot bluetooth phone adapter on it, courtesy of the previous owner. But, the Parrot doesn't do music streaming, only phone.

I am looking at swapping out the HU-803 and installing something like these:

Kenwood KMM-BT308U

I would get another DIN space for storage, and USB and 3.5mm audio inputs, plus hands free Bluetooth phone and streaming audio.

Downsides? I believe there is some cross functionality with the alarm system and the HU-803. Will deleting the head unit mess up the alarm, other integrated electronics?

I also have the factory trunk mounted subwooofer package and premium (11 speaker?) audio package for that year (european delivery model). No Nav (it has the center channel speaker up front).

Is it as simple (is it ever?) as ordering the harnesses and unit online, and popping it in like any other car?

Does the HU-803 provide me with essential things that will be lost with an aftermarket solution?
