2001 XC70 Front Crossmember ( behind Bumper

Picked up a 2001 XC70 that a friend wanted out of. Accident wiped out the bumper, radiator.My question, I have the bumper off headlights,,etc. The front crossmenber is whacked pretty good. I took off some bolts which I thought would remove it. Is it welded on or am I missing some other bolts. I am speaking of the lower frame cross member. Not the top apron on the radiator.

What's the story with the 01 orhpan tranny on these. Please fill me in.

Are you talking about the UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT?
It unbolts so it's probably jammed in there

IS 2001 the nasty orphan transmission year, as well as the last ugly year for M/M ETB ??
