need recommendation for tires 1999 xc

need recommendation for tires 1999 xc

I bought my 1999 xc used and it has some cheapo tires on it. I want to replace them with new. I put a lot of highway miles on my car driving between DC and NJ. I need good handling on the highway and good snow traction. What is the best tire for my car and use.
