2001 V70 right Position light failure

My right side (front and rear) position lights and license plate lights are out, and I get a position light failure on the dash. 10 amp Fuse #31 blows when I turn the lights on indicating an electrical short. Any known problem areas for this problem? Connectors I can unplug to help isolate?

Moved to the 2001 V70 forum

I'm not an expert on the P2s but my guess is you have a short at one of the bulbs, of course.

There is a trouble spot on the wiring where it comes through the rear tailgate pillar documented in the P80 thread. Search under 'intermittent rear wiper' for some pictures

I have this same problem with my v70 at the moment but on the driver side .. front and back any idea what it can be im stumped and I just bought the car si need to fix please help .
