2005 V50 AWD T5 Auto ABS Message

My V50 just popped the ABS message today. Is this module similar to my V70? Can I buy a re-built one and install it myself? What are other possible causes to check? Where can I buy a refurb? Can I unplug it and run without until I can get a part?
I have 145 ,000 miles on this puppy but I did not expect the ABS to fail....I would have presumed that this issue was sorted on the older models many years ago...or is this a gift from Ford?

WHOA there! Get codes read out first. Lots of things are more likely than the abs module failing on that car.
