2000 Volvo S40 gearbox- what type and how much oil it needs

Hello,
I have taken apart the engine (B418452) and the gearbox (JC5-227) and I can see that it needs oil but couldn't find anything in the book about how much and what type of oil it needs. Can someone out there please help me find the answer?
