2001 S80 Ignition key will not turn on at times

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

2001 S80 Ignition key will not turn on at times

Ignition key will not turn on at times. Have used graphite dust and WD 40 spray. One of the tumblers must stick. Any suggestions as Volvo dealer quotes $500 to replace ignition.
