A friend of mine just got a 99 s70 T5M.. Its at times hard to start. Itll crank over but wont start and the other issue it cuts out at 3500rpm .. any ideas where to start ?
I know these cars have the notorious ETM..

no codes.. In neutral with the pedal mashed to the floor it wont rev past 4500rpm.. bad ETM ??
