Has anyone tried this:



My dome light will only stay on if I hold the button, I removed the assembly and belive it is the button.

Has anyone else had this issue? Do you guys just replace the assembly?

I'm not gonna spend 5 minutes watching a video that has zero explanation of what it is trying to achieve ... is this like a bypass of the switch so that it works differently? Just a repair because something was visibly broken on the on the plastic switch cover, or inside the switch?

I haven't had that issue but I think I would go at it by popping the switch off and have a voltmeter, flashlight and magnifying glass handy, first try to figure out how it is broken.

It is rather annoying that buddy is the strong silent type but I think he is onto something. Too bad there is no details listed.

They are to cheap in the junk yard to fool with. If I ever have an issue with one, I'm sure I will simply replace it.
