V50 Keyless Start?

I'm about to order a V50 T5 and just read the C&D article that mentioned a keyless start option on the Euro version that they said was going to be available on stateside models in 2006. The dealer knows nothing about it. I don't mind waiting a few months if this option is in the pipeline. Has anyone heard anything about it? Thanks.
