Hi there, and thank you for reading this post.
I was parking at Home Depot and the curb was too high. Heard a crunch and backed up. When I did the front bumper cover and a couple other parts fell off. Put them in the V70 and found a body shop who got everything but one piece put back on. The guys at the body shop couldn't figure out where and how it goes on and neither could I. It's the same width as the radiator and has rubber trim along three edges (Picture link below). We looked and looked and tried and tried to figure out where it goes, but with no luck.
Thanks in advance for your help.
If anyone has a picture of one installed or a diagram it would be a great help. Thanks again!
(The part looks just like this one for sale on eBay):

Where does this part go? "Radiator trim something..."
That part is a air deflector, it goes on the outside of the core support in between the support and the bumper cover. You can go to tasca volvo parts and search parts for your model and see a diagram. If I had already put everything back together I don't think I would worry about it too much, most likely you will never notice any difference.
