Hi,
Need advise for my S80 1999 2.9 Non Turbo, 184000 KM on it.
On early start up car gives noise from the timing belt side. Please check the video.
12,000 KM ago I got my timing belt changed but not the tensioner, idler pulley etc. May be something goes wrong there.

Sounds like bearing maybe going bad.
Can you try taking the serpentine belt off and see if the noise goes away? If it goes away with serpentine off then you would at least know it is not in the timing belt 'circuit'...i.e. would be in the serpentine 'items'

Thanks dcarlson to get me little closer.
Am I able to start the car without serpentine belt? is there any issue to start without the serpentine belt?
did you notice in the video that when take the camera over the engine or near the belt side...no sound...but only is coming from beside of the wheel.

Running for a very short period of time with the serpentine belt 'off' won't do any harm. You might get an error message because the alternator will not be producing any power/voltage and the car will likely sense and warn about this.
