Mike suggested using the Torque app with an ELM 327. Does anyone have a recommended supplier for one of these units? I see many for sale on e-bay and amazon, but the reviews are variable. Any guidance is appreciated.

Buy from a U.S. company that offers free replacement if the first one fails. I can't recall the name of the company, I think it was in Michigan.

They offered phone support and I did need a replacement which they sent out as soon as we determined the first one wasn't going to link with the phone app. They mailed the replacement immediately trusting that I would return the first one, which I did. The replacement worked as advertised and described on their site.

Thanks for your suggestion guys! I'd prefer to buy from U.S with some back up available if required. I'm also of the view that I'd rather deal with someone who comes good when a problem arises.
I'll get on the order right away! Appreciate you taking the time to respond.
