2002 S80 T6 2.9 twin turbo codes P0443&P0497

2002 S80 T6 2.9 twin turbo codes I get this code P0443 and on occasion code P0497 I changed the gas cap thought that might be problem I reset my scanner it says pending, drive car a little and shut off restart again check engine comes on again with code P0443 most of time.Anybody know how to trouble shoot Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction ?

P0443 -- ECM-421B -- Evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve -- Signal missing

So it looks like you need to inspect the wiring to the canister purge valve, and check the valve itself.

do you know where the valve is located is it under the hood? and canister do you have to remove gas tank?
