Fan motor runs and will not stop,Please advice on how to fix.

Engine cooling fan or the cabin fan for the heater? At any rate I am going to move your post to the later model forum where you can get better advise for your later model car. This is the forum for the XC70 up to model year 2000.
Most of us po' folks can't help much with the later model cars.

If it's the engine bay ventilator, the relay that's fixed on it has failed (leaked capacitors inside).
