Not a question, just a comment.
Yesterday I installed new "quick struts" on the front of my 99 V70. It has about 170k on it, but according to the paper work these struts were supposedly replaced shortly before I bought the car 2 years ago.
Anyway, holy crap what a difference the new struts make! The thing rides like a smooth, quiet Volvo again!
The ones I bought are Gabriels. I know a lot of Volvo enthusiasts aren't fans of these struts, but they do come with a lifetime warranty, and for the price, I figured they're well worth it.
Moral of the story: Don't hesitate to fix & replace your suspension components!
