2006 volvo c70 running rough idle

Were can I get some answers on my volvo c70 when it on tick over or idle it seems to be running rough in between 1000 and 2000 but when you get over 2000 it seems to run ok but not perfect thanks for help in advance there is no fault codes it was running fine till changed alternator but I dont think this has anything to do with it.

Which engine is in your C70? For north America There was only one engine, a B5254T. I am not sure if that is the case for UK. You may have a non-turbo or another engine.

Clean the throttle. Look for metal filings. If metal is found then check turbocharger.

This is one possibility based on the ECM cancelling injectors when the throttle hangs open to lower idle speed. You do not mention any warning lights on. IS your Lambda lamp lit or is there a message about engine service needed?
