i have a 99 v70 base model.
car is running pretty well. it has a bit of a low idle (~500) RPM's sometimes, but it is not consistent and i still have power when i drive around town.
i have 3 codes popping up and the CEL on.
p0442 - i have read about this on the forum and i made the suggested fix by replacing the "J" Hose on the evaporator canister. it did have a small crack in it.
P1108 Dual Alternator Battery Lamp Circuit Malfunction - WTF? is this? i understand this is a generic ODB code (i.e. not VADIS codes) but i have no idea what that part is...no one on the forum seems to have any input on it a DIY fix for this.
P1026 - this one is weird as well...as i see some chatter about it, other than saying it involves the ETM or the MAF i can't find much else.
my questions...
1. does anyone know for sure what p1026 and p1108 translate into in VADIS world? at least an educated guess?
2. i am trying to get my emission stickers but can't due to CEL. should i erase the codes and run through another drive cycle and see if they some back? at least maybe the p0042 will clear if that new J Hose actually was the culprit...
any other tips regarding p1026 or p1108 that you can point to or share would be swell!
thanks to everyone on this forum...what a wealth of knowledge.
Cheers!
