1996 850R - What size spacers if I run 17" Pegs?

1996 850R - What size spacers if I run 17" Pegs?

I just picked up a 1996 850R and I am considering putting 17" Pegs on it. I tried this previously on another 850. From what I remember the front was ok, it was the rear where I had a little interference on the inside of the tire. Not sure if a 5mm spacer would have cleared the inside rubbing issue or 10mm would be required. Does anyone have experience/suggestions?
