I have a strange problem with my 2001, S40. After about 5 minutes the car is shut off, key removed from the ignition the headlights and tail lights turn on. This started happening after I got my car back from a mechanic I don't want to deal with again. It's a long story, but they repaired the power seat, so I think this may have something to do with the lights turning on.
I always had the DRLs on automatic, but after this I even tried and turned it off and set the light switch to the off position. Lights are now not on while driving, but even with the light switch i9n the off position, the lights turn on automatically after about 5 minutes the car is shut off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
