88 Bertone sending unit question

Car didn't pass because of a fuel smell under the car. Doubt it's a leak as this car is fairly stationary in a small garage. I would have smelled it before. I'd like to check the hoses to my sending unit, but don't want to start ripping out interior components unnecessarily. Has anyone ever pulled out the back seat in one of these?

Did you look in the trunk?

I'm replacing the rear suspension as well. Didn't see any access panels in the trunk, wasn't looking for this issue though. I'll give it a shot as soon as my; shoulder heals, but it has to come out anyway.
