Good Afternoon! Thanks in advance for any responses given! My wife's 2007 Volvo S80 3.2l is making a loud vibration in reverse. When we back out of the garage and up a large hill. It seems to be worse when the car is cold. The top motor mount on the passenger side had broke rubber bushing and I replaced it but that hasn't helped the problem. I have read that there are other mounts I may need to check. I would love to check and even replace tranny oil but it doesn't sound like it is servicable. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Todd

How many miles? Transmission fluid can be changed. My 2007 S80 advises specification 3309 transmission fluid. I have used Mobil 3309 available on Amazon for about $70 for a case of 12 with prime (free shipping). Transmission has a drain and fill plug. Also drain plug has stand pipe arrangement to set fluid level. Drain transmission, measure amount removed and refill the same amount.
Look in the XC90 forum. There is a current post on transmission fluid change.

I put low probability on the trans causing this.
I would investigate the lower torque mount that restricts the engine/trans motion against the motion created by the torque of moving the vehicle. The direction of the motion is reversed in reverse.
