1999 S80 T6 RPM Cuts Down to 2000 RPM

My car starts fine, and then after about 5-10 minutes I loose power and even when I put the gas peddle to the mat the RPM stops at 2000. If I turn the car off and then on things are fine for maybe 30 minutes. Any suggestions?
