How bad is this Intake Cam?

Chamfer the edges of that fracture and it'll be fine. That flange is only for fore-aft location. There is no force fore or aft but the cam has to be controlled so it doesn't move either way.

I was having trouble getting the VVT cover off. It was hung up at the front by the exhaust cam gear. I was using a pry bar type tool to work it off and at some point this happened.
