Exhaust Cam Seal Leak: Is it bad idea to do first then PCV

Post by plumsmooth »

I've decided to do the PCV, but am trying to build me confidence first.

AS long as I leave me dipstick in raised position, can I replace my Exhaust Cam Seal first without endangering my RMS or anything else.

I realize the reverse is ideal; but I could use a few more days to gather up for my PCV, where-as this Cam Seal I feel confident enough to try as my first engine work...

Thank you...

Are you sure the mechanic is the problem and not you? Read the answers already given and take action and report back. You are wasting bandwidth now
