93 240 overdrive problems

arrow light tends to come and go. couple of times car would get stuck in really high rpms on the freeway. sorta just feels off when changing gears. i had a realllllly bad oil leak because of a broken oil trap. lots of oil on the bottom of the car. thats been fixed but now the overdrive is acting up. got under the car and other than the wires being covered in oil the connections look good. there is a sorta buzzing noise when cars shifts at high rpm. would replacing the overdrive solenoid be something to consider? or maybe clean all the wires or even new wires. thanks everyone!

picked a relay out of a old volvo and it fixed my problem. still makes a buzz vibrating noise when i shift into 3rd and 4th. but the high rpms are gone and i can drive over 55 mph. if anyone might know what that quick buzz is right before my car shifts i would be very excited. thanks everyone!

A noise right before shifting could be something loose on the engine or exhaust vibrating. Exhaust shields have been known to do this.
