The title pretty much says all. I need a new O2 sensor for the 850 and there are a few aftermarket ones for around 30 bucks but the Bosch are indeed fairly more pricey. Am I safe in getting an aftermarket one? Anyone have experience with these?

It's better to go with UNIVERSAL Bosch and to crimp & solder wires and then to use shrink tube over the connections than use aftermarket one.
Maybe Ngk could be used from all aftermarket brands.
The crimping & soldering wires on universal o2 sensors is the most critical part of the job.If not done properly and if not protected properly it will be invisible to ecu or it would send wrong readings.
