1993 940 wheel width

Hi, new here. Can any one tell me if an 8.5" wide wheel will fit on the rear of a 940? I've solved the offset issue and have some flexibility there. I'm just wondering if the overall size will fit under the rear fender. If not has any one rolled their fenders?
