1996 Volvo 850 - Broken throttle linkage?

Was working on my PCV system today and when putting it back together, I noticed the plastic seems to have snapped. Does this need to be replaced and is the car drivable like this? I've included 2 photos below

It isn't ideal but I have two of mine that are broken in the same place and they drive fine. Replacing them is fairly high on my list but the list is long and emergency stuff, like new transmissions, keep jumping to the front of the line. Mine have been like that for well over a year and they haven't hung up.

Awesome! Was worried about being able to make it to work tomorrow morning. I'll add it to my list of never ending maintenance items
