2001 XC70 Car Alarm Came On At Warm Up

I have an remote starter which has not given me any issue, except one or two hiccups
in the past. Last Friday, I had it packed outside waiting to get the parts I ordered to fix
the P1332 code (CVVT Solenoid) I got from the car in losing some power on my way to work.

Every morning before I leave I remote-start it to keep it "alive". This morning, after it ran
for about one minute, I had an low level alarm. I looked outside thinking it would be a neighbor's
home security, but it was not. The sound seemed to be coming from the car, so I turned the engine
(remotely) off and the alarm stopped. Very strange! It was not the high decibel ear-deafening sound.
It was not a horn sound but like a home-alarm-like sound.

What might this be? The OEM alarm system connected to the remote starter or the solenoid issue
(Engine System Service Urgent) message I got with the CVVT Solenoid issue I currently have?
