What's your top speed?

Mine is 135MPH, downhill on 64 West HWY near the end on the corridor. It was midnight and not a single soul in the highway.

This was on a 1996 850 N/A GLT Wagon with 115k. The motor averages 160 psi, a little worn.
~No mods whatever~

I'm curious, what's the R's top speed? I bet it's the same.

The theoretical top speed is always different from the actual achieved speed.

Top speed of my car is 205km/h (127mph) because it have auto transmission.Manual non turbo should be at 210km/h(131mph) according to factory book.

After 17 years it still goes strong with top speed of 200km/h(125mph). :mrgreen:

between 60-65 when the shot inner tie rods say "enough" :lol:
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)
