1994 850 fuel injector spacer rings Part #: 3528216

Post by petek153 »

So after battling the cold for the past month here in Ct. (been working outside ) finally got the head gasket done and car back together and running. After moving the car found a seal on the ground and then a second after research found that they are upper fuel rail spacer rings. Never saw them fall out but must of when I removed injectors only found 2 of the five I assume they all had them. I've had the injectors out on my 95,96,97 850's and they don't have these seals but evidently the 94 does car is running with no leaks and want to know if I should order up a set and install or did they decide in later years that these aren't needed ? What's your thoughts?

My 94 has them, and I replaced them, plus the seals, when I had the injectors out. Who knows how important they are or if they can wear out, but I hate to not put things back the way that they were.

I used the cheaper Victor Reinz ones that FCP lists for $1.59 each.
