2001 Volvo S60T5 Hesitation

Post by phils94850 »

My T5 5 speed.. has a hesitation. I can rev up to red line in first gear shift to second and im getting a very noticeable hesitation with the throttle wide open. Its not bad if i hold the pedal down about half way and let it rev up.

Ive tried new coil packs, it has new plugs, i removed the ETM and cleaned it and swapped the CVVT solenoid with a known good one. The ETM and CVVT solenoid showed codes is why i tried swapping/cleaning. I also checked the fuel pressure running and idling and its staying about 55psi.

Currently no codes are coming up anymore but still has hesitation. Any ideas ??

It showed a P1171 code which ive researched is usually the MAF. Luckily my wife drives the exact same car so i can "borrow" hers and see if that fixes it.
