.
I have to remove my DIM for repair, it will take several days to have it back.
With the DIM removed, door locks and windows don't operate. This is extremely annoying as I drive trough gates where I MUST lower the window to communicate with people.
I have gone through all the pages of the Wiring Diagram but still can't figure out which of the 14 pins on the DIM connector power the door locks switch or at least the driver window.
Can anybody shed light into this.
Many thanks
.

You need to restore CAN bus.
On the connector look at 2 twisted pair (green with white)
You need to short white with white and green with green.
contact numbers on the DIMs connector
9 with 3
8 with 2.
When you install DIM you will need to clear error codes with some scanner that supports SRS.

If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer
.
It worked.
Thank you again.
Now, keeping the pins shorted all the time should not cause any nattery drainage right?
With so many complex circuitry one never knows ?
