1998 S70 - A/C low pressure side cap is stuck in place

I'm trying to give my A/C a little recharge, and in every tutorial I've ever seen everyone pops the cap off the low pressure port like it's nothing. Most don't even bother to mention it. I'm having some difficulty with that step. It seems as if it's been welded in place. I've tried twisting, pulling, twisting and pulling, twisting and pushing, pliers, giant sockets. It won't budge a millimeter. Anyone ever have this problem?

To be sure that I'm pulling on the right place, it's the black cap that says 6nM on it, right?

My V70 is threaded on. Twist it off with locking pliers. If it breaks, get one from a junkyard either local or hit up a fellow MVser for a junkyard trip. Cover it with electrical tape, color matched to car of course.
