Hi all
A couple of weeks ago my car just cut out and did not want to start. Took it in the get repaired at a reputable non Volvo dealer. The fuel pump was then replaced with a new one.
The car ran until it got to quarter tank and did exactly the same thing. Immediately when I add fuel the car starts and runs perfectly until it gets the quarter tank.
So it seems that as the car reaches a quarter tank of fuel the pump switches it self off. Can there be an explanation to this?
Thank you as always
