2002 Volvo V70 Clock

My digital clock spins and spins (cycles through 24 hours non stop). How do I get it to stop or how do I turn off the clock?

Try disconnecting battery. When you push the time adjustment buttons do you feel a positive click?

had the same on my 2003. don<t know if it was the switch on the electronic board or the board itself. but it looks like an early DIM failure. The message display works properly?

1. Right now it is just the clock. All other dashboard features work fine.

2. I will try disconnecting the battery and see if that works.

3. Regarding the time adjustment button and feeling a positive click.... Hmmmm not sure.... never really paid too much attention.... but will try...

When the DIM on my 03 V70 was failing the clock would roll like that. Sometimes it would roll backwards. (Twilight Zone) I often wondered if I let it roll backwards long enough that I could relive my past and correct some of the mistakes I made along the way.

What? No speed of light jokes?

Definitely worth a battery reset (make sure inspection isn't looming) or checking for stuck clock button.

If its a 'c' model and you drive it to 'c', you can make that clock stop too. Bring a relative to tea.
