Hi all. Just bought a 2001 S60 T5. Was trying to find a service manual and have had no luck. Anyone know where I can get a factory service manual, if not a haynes or chiltons will do. Also, is Volvo owned by GM?
Thanks and sorry for the newb questions,
Where can I get a service manual for my S60
Follow this link. The manulas are availible on DVD and are expensive.

Well, I finally found a manual that covers my 01 S60. Its called VADIS, and it comes on DVD's. For anybody thats interested just punch "vadis" into the search bar on eBay and you can find them for about $15 - $20 bucks. Hope this helps out some new owners.

I just purchased on EBAY and installed VADIS from DVD to my laptop. Installation must follow directions exactly. If not you will not have all of the serviceParts information that is availible on VADIS. If you do make a mistake you need to remove all traces of the previous installation. Use remove programs, manual remove folders with vadis/volvoi in windows explorer, go into windows registry remove all ref. to VADIS/VOLVO. Once this is done you can start a new installation. I made a mistake initially and it took me three more attemps. once I was able to delete all traces of my first installation the installation went smooth. But it takes about an hour to install.
