2003 xc70 What are the largest 16" tires that will fit?

I am looking for new tires on for my 2003 XC70. I would like a little softer ride than on the stock 215 65 16. Any suggestions on upsizing while keeping the 16" rim?

I've seen 225 60 16 on some xc70s.
