The driver side kick panel is falling down because the slots into which the tabs on with side get inserted are essentially open since the lip of plastic that creates them has essentially snapped off. Is there any glue that works reliably on this plastic -- crazy glue?

`These "tabs" always break at some point.
Use a sheet metal SCREW, either underneath or at the and of the dash.
Tap and drill a small starter hole, find or buy a 1" to 1-1/4" sheet metal screw, either black or SS depending on the color of your interior, and in 3 minutes you have a nice, tight lower dash panel.

Glue will not hold this

(The kick panel is to the left of your feet)

Thanks, Jim. Sheet metal screw it is. Stainless for a tan interior.

Can you suggest a fix for a similar problem on the passenger side kick panel. The tabs that support the front edge have disintegrated.

The black plastic frame is pretty much a vertical surface, so there doesn't seem to be much to hold a screw driven up through the meatier underside of the kick panel. I'm thinking about a pair of small metal angles attached to the back of the plastic frame, but wonder am I missing a better solution?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Peter
